FABRIC BOOK ART

So I have completed the #100daystitchbook that I started back in January. I have enjoyed the process, although I will admit that it has taken my attention away from doing other things.

The guide was to do 15 minutes of slow stitching a day. I started this way but as the weeks went by I found that I just binged stitched at the weekends. None of this matters of course as I did it in a way that suited me.

Once I had cobbled the pages together I added some strips of fabric to the spine.

Below are each of the pages and below is a quick video flip thru.

If you really want to know how I stitched the pages all together, I share how in my fabric:paint:stitch membership. It’s like Patreon but all here on my website.

I do projects like this for the following reasons.

  • I like to have some hand stitching on the go as I enjoy it’s therapeutic qualities.

  • It’s good to exercise the ol’ grey matter, thinking about what to do on each page.

  • It makes a dent in the stash and scrap piles.

This project was devised by Ann Wood of ann wood handmade.
