A piece I made when I was invited to represent my Area of the Quilters Guild of the British isles for ‘In the Spotlight’ exhibition at the Festival of Quilts in 2011. The loss of a dear friend that year brought this poem to my attention. Perfect words to live by that could only be improved by the phrase ‘make a quilt’.
